Senior Cybersecurity Professional
About the Role:

• This critical position plays a key part in ensuring the security of a widely used Linux distribution, impacting millions of users worldwide. As a leader, you will guide a team of engineers to develop and implement robust security measures to protect the open-source ecosystem.
• Lead and develop a team of engineers from graduate to senior level, focusing on their career growth through coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback.
• Implement disciplined engineering processes to measure team health indicators.
• Represent your team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers, promoting great engineering and organizational practices.
• Plan and manage progress on agreed goals and projects, supporting products and customers to meet strict security requirements.
• Support efforts addressing specific cryptography modules (FIPS 140) and system hardening with industry partners, including CIS and DISA.
• Requirements:
• An exceptional academic track record and undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field are necessary.
• Drive and experience going above-and-beyond expectations are crucial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
• A love for developing and growing people is preferred, along with experience working on FIPS/Common Criteria certified products and knowledge of Linux cryptography libraries.
