Emagine is currently seeking a Software Engineer (AWS) to join an exciting project with an international client in the cybersecurity sector. This is a strategic role within a high-impact initiative focused on building scalable, cloud-native, and security-driven digital solutions. The selected professionals will be part of a newly established engineering hub in Lisbon, collaborating with global teams across Israel, Denmark, and Nepal.

  • Your main responsibilities:
  • Work within a team of supportive and passionate software engineers (both local and remote).
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and developers in your team, as well as adjacent teams across multiple hubs.
  • Actively participate in refinement and planning sessions, contributing valuable input to technical discussions and upcoming initiatives.
  • Contribute to the team’s prioritized workload and delivery goals.
  • Review code from other team members, offering constructive feedback while ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable deliverables.
  • You bring:
  • Solid professional experience in cloud-native application development with AWS.
  • Strong programming background in Java and/or Python.
  • Familiarity with React, GraphQL, Kafka, MongoDB, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge or interest in cybersecurity and data protection principles.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
