Our client is a leading Portuguese renewable energy company focused on wind and solar power. They're searching for an IT Security Manager to join their IT Department in Porto. The role involves leading cybersecurity efforts, managing risks, ensuring compliance with international standards, and fostering a strong security culture across the organisation.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Cybersecurity Leadership: Align strategy with business and IT goals, lead and develop the team, define budgets and projects, and promote a strong security culture.
- Risk Management & Incident Response: Monitor risks, coordinate threat analysis, manage incidents, and test recovery plans.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure legal compliance, update policies, conduct audits, and address vulnerabilities.
- Technical Implementation: Design and manage security solutions and tools, support departments with controls and compliance.
- External Coordination: Maintain vendor and SOC relationships, and lead awareness and training initiatives.
- What You Bring:
- Academic Background: Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Networks and Systems, or equivalent, plus specialised training in Cybersecurity.
- Cisco Certification: CCNP level or higher (mandatory).
- Splunk Certification: Certified Cybersecurity Defence Analyst or Enterprise Security Certified Admin (mandatory).
- Fortinet Certification: NSE, preferably PCP level or higher.
- OS Security Certification: In Windows and Linux administration.
- Cybersecurity Certifications: Pentesting, Ethical Hacking, or similar.
- Language Skills: Native Portuguese and professional proficiency in English.
