About The Role

We are expanding our IT Risk Management, Cybersecurity, and Digital Fraud teams. Join us to enhance cybersecurity maturity, ensure robust data protection, and contribute to a safer financial ecosystem across multiple entities globally.

As a Data Security & Cryptography Expert, you will be part of the Cybersecurity & Digital Fraud delivery team in Portugal, working closely with the central team abroad. Your mission is to define, implement, and monitor data security strategies, support subsidiaries, and drive innovation in cryptography and data protection solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Define security requirements and strategies for data security and cryptography at Group level.
  • Support subsidiaries in implementing cryptography and data protection measures.
  • Conduct risk analysis, evaluate impacts, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Lead technical POCs on emerging data security and cryptography technologies.
  • Maintain technological watch and contribute to the Bank’s security community.
  • Present complex security topics to IT and non-IT teams (including Legal).
  • Advise on Blockchain usage, cryptographic asset management, crypto agility, and advanced encryption techniques (e.g., full homomorphic encryption).

  • IT Risk Management & Cybersecurity
  • ISO 27001/27005/Ebios RM or other risk management frameworks
  • Cybersecurity awareness and risk assessment
  • Experience with data protection, cryptography, anonymization, masking
  • Ability to conduct technical evaluations, POCs, and strategic recommendations
  • Language Skills
  • English: C1 (mandatory)
  • Soft Skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (technical & business perspectives)
