Job Title: Security Operations (SOC) Analyst

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Work model: Full-time, Hybrid (3x office per week)

About the Role

We’re expanding our Technology Services Team capacity to support our customers.

This professional will play a key role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats, while ensuring the protection of critical information assets. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in cybersecurity tools and standards with strong analytical skills and a proactive, investigative mindset.

  • Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyse security events using tools such as firewalls, web application firewalls (WAF), endpoint protection, and UBA/NBA solutions;
  • Detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents, escalating as necessary to ensure rapid mitigation;
  • Perform security assessments and testing using tools such as Mimikatz to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats;
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 27001 controls and information security policies;
  • Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure proper configuration and operation of security tools;
  • Document incidents, findings, and actions taken in accordance with internal security processes and reporting standards;
  • Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, attack techniques, and defensive strategies.
  • Requirements
  • Academic background in Computer Science, Networks, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent);
  • Knowledge and experience in cybersecurity principles, tools, and practices;
  • Hands-on experience with security protection tools, including firewalls, WAF, and endpoint protection solutions;
  • Familiarity with UBA (User Behaviour Analysis) and NBA (Network Behaviour Analysis) tools;
  • Understanding of ISO 27001 standards and information security management;
  • Practical experience or academic exposure to offensive security tools (e.g., Mimikatz);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment;
  • Good command of the English language (spoken and written).
