We are recruiting a Data Security & Cryptography Expert to join an international Cybersecurity & Digital Fraud team, in a highly regulated financial environment with strong exposure to group-level security strategy and innovation.

This role combines technical expertise and strategic contribution , focusing on data protection, cryptography, risk analysis and emerging technologies , while working closely with central teams and international stakeholders.

Your Mission

As a Data Security & Cryptography Expert , you will contribute to defining and deploying the Group’s data security and cryptography strategy, supporting multiple entities and participating in innovation initiatives.

  • Your main responsibilities will include :
  • Defining security requirements and strategy for Data Security and Cryptography ;
  • Supporting local entities in the implementation of data protection and cryptographic measures;
  • Analysing security risks, assessing impacts and proposing mitigation measures;
  • Participating in technical POCs related to data security and cryptography solutions, including emerging technologies;
  • Assessing the robustness of architectures, data protection mechanisms and key management ;
  • Defining guidelines for the use of Blockchain within the organization;
  • Contributing to crypto agility initiatives and inventory of cryptographic assets;
  • Performing technology watch and contributing to the internal security community;
  • Presenting complex security topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders (e.g. Legal, Business teams).
  • What we are looking for
  • Higher education in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field;
  • Solid experience in Data Security and applied Cryptography ;
  • Strong knowledge of :
  • Cryptography (at rest, in transit, key management);
  • Anonymization and data masking techniques;
  • Data security in cloud environments ;
  • Experience in risk analysis and definition of security requirements;
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001 / 27005, EBIOS RM or equivalent;
  • Interest and / or experience with emerging technologies (e.g. homomorphic encryption);
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work transversally with different teams.
