- Job Description:
- Taking ownership of data science, working directly with the Head of Product and founders to drive innovation in hiring.
- Planning and presenting progress on data science work to a business audience, showcasing expertise in data-driven problem-solving.
- Learning how our products work and understanding customer needs to evaluate how data science contributes to customer value.
- Collaborating closely with the Engineering team lead and software engineers to integrate our data science stack into our product.
- Evaluating and improving current models for skills extraction and matching, while constantly seeking new data sources for skills assessment purposes.
- Implementing best practices for retraining models and monitoring their performance in production (MLops).
- Deploying ML models in the production environment.
- Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in data science.
- Experience with NLP problems, including NER, sentence embeddings, unsupervised learning, and SOTA models.
- Familiarity with OpenAI and proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks.
- Experience with lean/agile development and test-driven development practices is preferred.
- Understanding of the AWS ecosystem for ML and experience with OCR, CV models, and techniques would be beneficial.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
