Your Mission

Capgemini Engineering is constantly growing and attentive to market opportunities. We are looking for a Data Scientist to participate in many interesting and cutting-edge projects throughout the entire life cycle.

• Your Role
• Provide leadership and mentorship to teams of data scientists and analysts, guiding them to success on intricate data science initiatives.
• Define the strategic direction for data science projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Conduct advanced analysis of complex datasets to derive profound insights, forecast trends, and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
• Design, implement, and evaluate advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to address high-impact business challenges.
• Lead the integration of big data technologies and advanced analytics solutions into business processes, driving innovation in methodologies and practices.
• Establish best practices for data management, quality, and governance to ensure the integrity and reliability of data science outputs.
• Effectively communicate complex analytical concepts and the value of data science initiatives to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
• Advocate for a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning within the organization.

• Your Profile
• 7 or more years of experience in data science and analytics, with a proven track record of leading successful data science projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages, including Python and SQL, along with advanced libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow or Pytorch.
• Deep understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, and advanced algorithmic problem-solving.
• Extensive experience in data visualization and interpretation, translating complex results into actionable insights.
• Leadership experience with the ability to inspire, guide, and mentor team members to achieve exceptional results.
• Technical domain knowledge in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or big data technologies (Spark).
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
