Role Description:
As an Insights Analyst, you will play pivotal role in turning our unique data into compelling insights & stories to attract & engage with Marketing, Brand, and Leadership teams in Global Consumer & D2C organizations. We are developing and integrating a corpus of cross-channel digital signals from social, search, web, reviews and offline survey datasets to uncover insights, to help our clients & new prospects succeed in the 21st Century marketing.
In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Data & AI team here in Porto in undertaking strategic and ongoing research to scale our platform & Develop Insights from the Product Category you will be working on. You will typically take ownership of a number categories & clients, whilst identifying compelling & topical insights.
You will play client facing and report to our Insights team + Leadership in order to ensure a successful link between the relationship and insights
- Requirements
- Undergraduate or higher degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, from a reputable University with a strong academic performance
- Autonomous and willing to take the ownership on their own projects
- Proven experience in conducting research & understanding various research methodologies
- Data driven & literate (data analysis, vlookups, correlational analysis, pivots etc.)
- Strong storytelling & presentation skills
- A track record of writing plans and designing research
- Culturally plugged in and literate in modern media from a user & industry perspective
- Sharp thinker and crisp communicator – able to synthesize complex problems to senior leaders
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information - and translate into an easily understood story
- This is a client facing role and candidates must be comfortable in this environment
- Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience in Consumer / Marketing insights with the ability to apply knowledge of and passion for digital, social, mobile media, and other new platforms to provide insight and evaluation that helps clients build stronger consumer connections.
- Pricing, Promotions, Marketing Insight are a huge plus
- Consumer Insights background in Marketing research outfit such as Kantar, IPSOS, or similar is also preferred.
- Ability to explain findings and recommendations to a broad business audience, both internal and external
- Educated on a variety of analytical methods, shapes thinking and influences decisions
- Effectively complete tasks to achieve both short- and long-term goals within a team
