Role Overview

We're looking for an AI Engineer & Developer (Python) (m/f/d) to join our Development team in Lisbon. You'll work on cutting-edge projects using modern technologies to build scalable, cloud-native solutions for our enterprise clients.

• Technical Stack
• AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers
• Data processing libraries like NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn
• LLM-specific tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex
• Vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or Chroma for RAG applications

• Core Responsibilities
• Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems for enterprise knowledge management solutions
• Develop, fine-tune, and optimize LLM-based applications for specific business domains and use cases
• Build and deploy AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants using modern LLM frameworks
• Create scalable AI pipelines for data processing, model training, and inference
• Implement evaluation frameworks to measure AI solution performance and business impact
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into production systems
• Design AI solutions that balance performance, cost, and ethical considerations
• Research and integrate emerging AI technologies to solve complex business problems

• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• More than 5 years of professional experience in the field of data science and AI
• Machine learning engineer with dedicated experience in LLM-based applications and model optimization
• In-depth know how in RAG, LLM based chatbots and assistants on various cloud platforms and AI stacks
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and containerization
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in consulting projects is a plus
• Fluent in English (C1 level)

• Contract Details
• Permanent contract ("Contrato sem termo")
• 6-month initial trial period
• 40-hour work week
