Randstad is recruiting a Data Scientist, for direct integration, in a start-up company that develops a no-code Artificial Intelligence platform that simplifies the integration of AI for companies.

They have offices in Braga and Lisbon. The work is hybrid in one of these locations 1 day / week.

• development and implementation of advanced analytical models and machine learning algorithms.
• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
• Undertaking the pre-processing of structured and unstructured data
• Selecting features, building, and optimizing models using machine learning techniques
• Correlating disparate data
• Ability to build/amend Python APIs and machine-learning algorithms to support and deliver solutions

• competências
• 2 years minimum of work experience;
• Master’s degree in a science field (informatics engineering, computer science, mathematics, biomedical engineering, physics engineering, etc.);
• Good understanding of machine learning algorithms and concepts such as convolutional neural networks, recurrent neural networks, transformer architectures, decision trees, boosting;
• Good programming knowledge in Python and its math & machine learning packages such as numpy, scikit-learn, pandas/dask, tensorflow/keras, pytorch, etcExperience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a real production environment;
• Experience with Large Language Models and Generative AI is valued;
• Experience with NoSQL, RabbitMQ and Docker is also valued;
• Git versioning control;
• Proficient English.
