Job Description

We're seeking a skilled ML Engineer to join our AI team in Porto, Portugal. In this role, you'll work closely with our Product, Data, and Engineering Teams to develop and maintain machine learning systems that deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

  • Your Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, development, evaluation, deployment, and improvement of our products using hands-on AI/ML development;
  • Develop and maintain data processing pipelines to support model development and evaluation;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement AI/ML-powered features for internal and external users;
  • Share your expertise and experience in building ML systems.
  • About You
  • You have 2+ years of professional experience in machine learning;
  • You have hands-on experience implementing and maintaining machine learning systems;
  • You have solid experience in SQL and Python as well as experience developing production software;
  • You have working knowledge of Python data stack (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn, etc);
  • You have the ability to learn quickly and dive deep into new problems and fields;
  • You have the ability to communicate concepts clearly and interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • You have the ability to prioritize and solve issues according to the team's direction and goals.
  • Bonus Points
  • You have experience working in a fast-paced environment and wearing different hats;
  • You have experience building data processing pipelines;
  • You have experience using cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.
