The Role
Purpose of the role
We are currently looking for Azure Data Engineers to join our team. As a dynamic and tech-driven startup, curiosity and innovation are two of the main traits that we love about our applicants!
Team
The Data & Digital team help people to use data effectively to improve the performance of their projects or organisations. To do this effectively and at scale we use the modern digital technologies including Azure, Fabric, Power BI and Python. We pride ourselves on being structured and outcome driven, helping us to build the best solutions and helping us to continuously improve what we do.
- Your Top 5 Responsibilities
- Building data solutions for our clients: Develop adaptable data pipelines tailored to clients' needs, employing a range of technology solutions to ensure seamless integration and compatibility.
- Building data solutions for internal reporting: Helping Laminar to become data-driven by leveraging Fabric to collect organisation data and enhance operational efficiency.
- Productisation of client solutions: Designing and building scalable pipelines that work across different clients.
- Following and developing our processes: Following our best practices and identifying areas for us to improve by refining or introducing new processes.
- Develop everyone: Keeping your knowledge up to date with latest industry trends and imparting that knowledge onto others.
Your Capabilities
You will be a proactive person who seeks to improve the way things are done and able to communicate best practice to the rest of the team.
- As a candidate, you should have:
- Degree educated in one of the following: Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
- Azure Intelligent Data Platform expertise.
- 4+ years working with SQL: building and optimising analytics tables, building complex queries. Experience with other database technologies is a bonus.
- 3+ years designing and implementing robust data solutions in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics (
