Product Data Science Role
- This role requires an engineer at heart who leads and guides Data Science/Machine Learning teams to deliver Feedzai financial crime fighting products. You'll need deep data science knowledge and provide strategic support. Besides technical leadership, you'll hire top-class data scientists/machine learning engineers and plan product development execution driven by the product management team.
- Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of data scientists whose work impacts detecting financial crime activity.
- Provide technical leadership to the team, driving architecture, design, experimental setups, and code reviews.
- Be responsible for planning, executing, and ensuring success of technical projects.
- Work with key stakeholders across all groups within the Engineering and Product Teams.
- Develop and empower top-class data science and technology practices in the teams.
- You Have:
- 3+ years of experience working with very large datasets.
- 5+ years of experience in applied ML.
- 5+ years of data science work, including experiment design.
- Experience communicating complex concepts to customers and/or key stakeholders.
- You Know How:
- Handle stakeholder expectations and push-back when necessary to ensure project success.
- Be solution-oriented and tackle issues with a 'get it done' attitude.
- Team player with a clear focus on taking team performance to the next level.
- Solid background in data science practices and applied Machine Learning principles.
- Experience working in customer-facing Data Science initiatives.
- Experience working in Machine Learning Platform initiatives.
- Experience working in the fraud detection domain.
- First 30 Days at Feedzai:
You'll be immersed in our brand with training, connections, and one-on-one time with your manager. You may shadow colleagues virtually or onsite as you're supported through your Feedzai journey. You'll access information about Feedzai's history, context, and knowledge about the team. Finally, you'll start working on projects and collaborating on current work.
