We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer / Data Product Engineer to join the Nokia Products & Engineering AI as a Service team. The role involves developing innovative software applications based on advanced Data Product and Data Science concepts. These applications will be deployed globally, delivering impactful solutions to Nokia customers. Develop and implement Data Driven models and algorithms to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.Conduct research, implementation, and testing of state-of-the-art data driven software applications.Design workflows and optimize system efficiency using tools such as Airflow and Kubeflow.Utilize Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, Ray, Dask) to process and analyze large-scale datasets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and innovation in Data Driven use cases.Maintain technical and design knowledge for assigned software products and technologies. Your skills and experience:Programming: Advanced skills in Python and Java. Knowledge of Go, Rust and C++ is an advantageBig Data: Experience with tools such as Spark, Ray and DaskStreaming Applications: Proficiency in Kafka, Spark and Flink for data processing and real-time analyticsOrchestration and Containerization: Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Kubeflow) and containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Good knowledge in the Data Science domain, including a wide range of Machine Learning algorithms, statistics, and data analysis tooling is an advantageCloud Platforms: Knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure is highly valuedWeb Development: JavaScript experience is a plus for creating visualization or interfacingCI/CD Pipelines: Experience in DevSecOps workflows is an added advantageIt would be nice if you also have:Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Technology, Engineering, or a related fieldCreative and self-driven with strong problem-solving skillsFluent in spoken and written EnglishAbility to effectively communicate with others on a multi-cultural environment Come create the technology that helps the world act together Nokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed and cloud networks.
