We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist & AI Engineer ready to take on new challenges with our Closer team! ????

???? Hybrid work model: 1/2 days per week onsite in Lisbon or Porto.

  • Are you the one?
  • Experience in developing analytical solutions involving AI.
  • Ability to deliver high-complexity analytical models, including combinatorial models and deep learning for structured and unstructured data.
  • Hands-on experience with coding in R or Python and/or proficiency with cloud PaaS services (preferably Azure) and advanced analytics libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, Caffe or PyTorch.
  • Experience building models or applications that integrate Generative AI (GenAI), such as LLMs or diffusion models, in real workflows, e.g.: text generation, summarization, autonomous agents or intelligent copilots.
  • Proven ability to design robust pipelines involving preprocessing and fine-tuning of base models (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral, T5), evaluation using specific metrics (e.g., BLEU, ROUGE, perplexity), controlled deployment (e.g., via API).
  • Strong technical expertise and adherence to ML engineering best practices, particularly for GenAI applications.
  • Valued: Previous experience implementing interactive data visualization solutions to present complex results.
