The Role: Senior AWS Data Engineer

???? Location: Lisbon

???????? Work Model: 2 - 3 days a week onsite - Lisbon

???????? Sector: Financial Services

????️ Languages: English (B2 - C1)

✅ Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

  • ???? Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 of experience with Data Warehouse modelling and core data modelling concepts.
  • Hands-on experience using data modelling tools and working with structured datasets.
  • Ability to develop scripts and work with databases using SQL.
  • Basic exposure to APIs and data integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working.
  • Interest in best practices around data quality and governance.
  • ???? Bonus points if you also have:
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
  • Basic understanding of Data Governance principles.
  • ????️ What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Design and maintain data models for Data Warehouse environments.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, well-structured data models.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to support data transformations.
  • Work with development and analytics teams to ensure data consistency and quality.
  • Support data documentation and governance initiatives.
  • Continuously improve data models as systems and requirements evolve.
