???? Our expertise: The Felps Group is an alliance of ‘Pure Players’ made up of four distinct squads: Telecoms, IT, Cybersecurity and Change Management. Each squad is led by a Captain who is a specialist in that particular area. The captains coach the consultants throughout their careers in the Felps Group, guiding them in their choice of missions and the stages of their training. Our aim is to facilitate the growth and development of our consultants, enabling them to take their careers to the next level.

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to grow your career? We are seeking a Network LAN Engineer to our dynamic team at Felps Lisboa

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide second-line technical support for network infrastructure, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues involving LAN, STP, OSPF, and BGP protocols.
  • Collaborate with the first-line support team to address network-related issues and escalate problems as needed.
  • Perform configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Assist in the implementation of network upgrades and enhancements.
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation for network configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, if necessary, for after-hours support as needed.
  • Requirements:
  • Degree in Networks/IT or a related field
  • Fluency in French (mandatory)
  • English Speaker
  • Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP) are highly valued
  • Hands-on experience in network configuration and troubleshooting
  • Proven experience in a similar support role with a strong understanding of networking concepts, including LAN, STP, OSPF, and BGP.
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (OSPF, BGP)
  • Expertise in Spanning Tree, ARP table, Port Channel, and other key networking concepts
  • Valued skills :
  • Certification in networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) is a plus.
