An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global organisation as a Network and Security Operations Engineer - Coimbra, Portugal on a contract basis (B2B).The role would be Hybrid requiring occassional travel to office.

• Skills:
• H*aving atleast 5+ years of experience* (firewall policy management, IPSEC/SSL VPNs, packet captures).
• H*aving 5+ years of experience* (switching, routing, ACLs, VTP, troubleshooting L2 issues).
• Experience managing Cisco DNA, Wireless Controllers, and Access Points.
• Strong experience with Cisco Switches, Firewalls, and Wireless technology.
• Knowledge of security best practices and IT security frameworks.
• Familiarity with incident & change management (ITIL4)
• Hands-on experience with automation using APIs and EEM scripts.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Zscaler security technologies.
• Additional certifications (e.g., Fortinet NSE5/NSE6, Cisco CCIE Security, CISSP).
• Knowledge of cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP networking).
