Network Defense Systems Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Network Defense Systems Engineer to join our team at Tn Portugal. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining network security solutions, including Next Generation Firewall (NGFW), VPN, and Security Service Edge (SSE).

About the Job:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Designing and implementing NGFW solutions using Palo Alto Networks technology.
• Implementing and maintaining VPN solutions using Cisco ASA and F5 APM.
• Designing and implementing SSE solutions.
• Delivering HLD and LLD documentation.
• Creating comprehensive work instructions for the Level 2 team.
• Utilizing development skills for data analysis, automation, monitoring, and control within the network security domain.

• Requirements:
• Masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of NGFW technologies, with specific expertise in Palo Alto Networks' solutions.
• Experience with NSX-T and micro-segmentation is desirable.
• Relevant industry certifications (PCNSA, PCNSE, CCNP Security) are highly desirable.
