ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our growing TechOps team as a Network DevOps Engineer, where you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our Constellation’s network infrastructure by leveraging automation toolsets and DevOps practices to enhance efficiency, scalability and security.

You'll be passionate about modernising network management, driving automation initiatives and upskilling others. You will also contribute to building an automated network infrastructure that supports CAGs critical systems and supports its rapidly evolving organisational needs.

This role offers the unique opportunity to work with some of the latest network technologies and make a direct impact on how the network infrastructure will be managed in the future.

• ROLE RESPONSABILITIES
• Maintain the Network Source of Truth: Ensure it serves as the foundation for reliable automation.
• Develop and maintain network automation scripts: Use tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines: Deploy, test, and validate network configurations.
• Maintain version-controlled repositories: Manage repositories for network automation scripts.
• Collaborate and educate: Help team members understand and use network automation tools effectively and integrate these tools into broader DevOps and Infrastructure workflows.

• DESIRED KEY SKILLS
• Solid understanding of networking principles: Proficiency in TCP/UDP, IP, DNS, Routing, Switching, Subnetting, VLANs, and Load Balancing is essential.
• Experience with Linux administration: Managing open-source architectures and using scripting languages like Ansible Playbooks and Python to interact with network devices.
• Familiarity with Cisco technologies: Knowledge of Meraki, Nexus, and ACI is desirable for effective network management.
• Experience with version control systems: Using Git and CI/CD with Azure DevOps to ensure consistent and efficient deployments.
• Understanding of network architectures and security zones: Implementing security principles and utilizing technologies like SD-WAN and Next-Generation Firewalls.
