Right now, we are looking for a Senior Virtualization & Systems Engineer to integrate our internal team, based in Lisbon.

• Your responsibilities include:
• Maintenance of the virtualization, storage and backup platforms;
• Diagnosis and resolution of operational problems in this infrastructure;
• Troubleshoot and resolve system problems to minimize downtime;
• Configure and modify operating system settings;
• Planning and execution of updates on servers;
• Develop activities that contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's quality, environment and information security performance.

• You must have:
• 12th year in equivalent professional courses or preferably a degree in the IT area;
• At least 3 years of experience in similar functions;
• ITIL knowledge;
• Excellent Knowledge of VMWare;
• Knowledge of storage and backup solutions – Brocade, DELL Powerstore, IBM SVC;
• Knowledge of Microsoft and Unix systems;
• Knowledge of IIS, Networks, Clusters, DNS, and AD;
• Knowledge of IIS, Networks, Clusters, DNS, and AD;
• Knowledge at the level of networks, firewall (Checkpoint), and/or reverse proxy (FortiWeb), not mandatory, but a plus;
• Knowledge at the level of SQL databases, executing queries, or procedures for log shrinkage or failovers, not mandatory, but a plus;
• Knowledge of scripting is not mandatory but is a plus;
• Ease of expression and interaction with customers and suppliers;
• Stress resistance and work capacity in an environment of constant demand;
• Fluency in English;
• Certifications will be valued (VMware Workspace ONE Professional).
