• *Job Description:**

The Technical Network Specialist role at TN Portugal is a critical position that requires an individual with a strong understanding of network concepts, including IP addresses, routers, switches, firewalls, LAN, and WAN. The ideal candidate will have experience with basic IP tools such as ping and traceroute, as well as familiarity with internet/web-based applications.

The successful Technical Network Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining our end clients' networks, ensuring client satisfaction and quieting their networks are essential in this position. This includes first-line support of IT infrastructure, security, and systems, receiving and responding to service requests via telephone and email in accordance with each client's Service Level Agreement (SLA).

• Key Responsibilities:
• First-line support of IT infrastructure, security, and systems.
• Manage service tickets and assign to appropriate onsite technicians or internal service resources.
• Triage, classify, and prioritize incidents.
• Escalate high-profile issues in a timely manner using well-defined processes.
• Monitor all IT assets and proactively respond to event and incident alerts.

• Requirements:
• A+ Certification is preferred.
• NET / Sec + Certification is preferred.
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is preferred.
• Experience in computer network management is required.
• Experience in managing end-client networks is preferred.
