Axians Portugal is committed to delivering high-quality network engineering services to our clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team.

• The Role
• As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network security measures and data centre IP nodes.
• You will develop technical solution designs with scalability and cost-effectiveness, ensuring that our network infrastructure meets the needs of our clients.
• You will maintain High-Level and Low-Level Designs for existing and new infrastructure, ensuring that our network remains efficient and effective.
• You will deliver capacity management and expansion activities in the nodes under scope, adhering to regional directives.
• You will implement software upgrades, hardware renewals, and infrastructure refreshes in the nodes under scope, following planning guidelines.
• You will collaborate with vendors and system integrators for network implementation and designed connectivity.
• You will work with regional and local Operations teams to define, plan, and schedule network activities and interventions.

• Requirements
• An academic degree and/or at least 5 years' experience in Telecom/IT organizations supporting large heterogeneous IP network infrastructures.
• Solid knowledge of IP network design/architecture.
• Excellent knowledge of various network nodes and vendors, including Cisco ACI, Cisco Router/Switches, Fortinet, and F5.
• Experience with Network Automation programming using Ansible scripting.
• Fluent English and Portuguese oral and written communication skills.
• CCNP, CISSP certifications are advantageous.
