We are seeking a Network Engineer for a local contract within our BPCE IT business unit. BPCE Infogérance & Technologies, founded in 2015, is a subsidiary of Groupe BPCE dedicated to infrastructures, end-user environments, security, and production.

Our dynamic workplace offers a vast tech stack to explore. The Cœur Réseau department's AFD team manages LAN and MAN infrastructure in Groupe BPCE's datacenters across France and Europe.
The team oversees MAN network infrastructures connecting datacenters, legacy LAN infrastructures, Cisco/ACI, Arista/MP-BGP Evpn, private Cloud networks, and internet connectivity in Europe. They also develop and support network automation in infrastructure as a service mode.
The AFD team will consist of 9 in-house staff in Porto. Key statistics include:
4 main data centers in France,
3 data centers in European subsidiaries,
2,400 switches and routers,
70,000 physical and virtual servers (70% in private cloud),
Multiple internet connections at 3 data centers with 20 Gbps average traffic.
The Network Engineer will maintain network production quality by ensuring network supervision using monitoring tools, handling incidents promptly, and performing routine network configuration tasks such as VLAN creation, configuration changes, and switch fabric additions.
