About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in HAVI Portugal. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure for our clients.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Network Architects, Project Managers, System Administrators, and Vendors, to ensure smooth and efficient network deployment.

• Key Responsibilities
• Design and deploy network infrastructure for organizations, ensuring reliability, security, and high performance;
• Collaborate with teams to understand network requirements and objectives, ensuring effective communication and coordination;
• Execute network deployment projects efficiently, adhering to design specifications and industry best practices;
• Test and validate network infrastructure for connectivity, performance, and adherence to design specifications;
• Troubleshoot and resolve network deployment issues promptly, minimizing downtime and impact on production systems;
• Maintain accurate documentation of network deployment activities, including configurations, diagrams, and procedures;
• Adhere to change management processes and procedures, coordinating with change management teams to schedule and execute network deployment activities effectively;
• Provide knowledge transfer to support teams or end-users on the newly deployed network infrastructure through documentation or training sessions;
• Stay updated on the latest networking technologies, standards, and best practices related to network deployment, upgrading skills and knowledge regularly.
