Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing network security devices and data centre IP nodes that integrate with the country-wide network. Key responsibilities include:
• Designing and delivering technical solution designs with appropriate dimensioning and scalability to meet client needs
• Creation and maintenance of High-Level and Low-Level Designs for existing and new infrastructure
• Delivery of capacity management and expansion activities in nodes under scope, in line with regional directives
• Participation in local demand management forums to analyse and prioritise connectivity requests from customers
• Management of vendors and system integrators for the implementation of the network and designed connectivity

Requirements

• To be successful in this role, you will need:
• An academic degree and/or at least 5 years' work experience in a Telecom/IT organisation supporting large heterogeneous IP network infrastructures
• Solid knowledge of IP network design/architecture
• Excellent knowledge of Cisco ACI, Cisco Router/Switches, Fortinet, F5, and Network Automation programming
• Fluency in English and Portuguese, both oral and written
