Job Title: IP Network & Security Engineer - Data Center
About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced IP Network & Security Engineer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design and implement network solutions for data center environments, ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Mandatory Requirements
• Strong expertise in networking, with deep knowledge of BGP, MPLS, Firewalls, ACI, and Load Balancers.
• Experience in network design, particularly for voice and data center projects.
• Proficiency in routing, switching, and firewall configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and ASR, F5 Load Balancers, Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls.
• Your Daily Responsibilities
• Design and implement network solutions for data center environments, ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Define routing, switching, and firewall policies.
• Integrate services across IT, OSS, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to develop optimized and secure network solutions.
• Nice to Have
• Experience with data center monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios).
• Basic understanding of network security principles (validation is handled by a dedicated security team).
• Familiarity with network automation concepts.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 60% remote work and 40% in-person presence in Lisbon, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have strong networking knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
