Job Title: Network Support Engineer (Data Center Server Virtualization)

Location: CX Center Lisbon, Oeiras, Portugal

This is a technical support role for Cisco Data Center products.

You will provide top-level support to customers and partners via phone/email/WebEx.

You will engage in cross-technology collaborations to troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems.

You will work with technical experts in the industry to learn, install, and resolve complex situations.

The ideal candidate has proven technical knowledge in networking, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of blades and rack servers.

Experience with storage solutions, operating systems, virtualization, and hypervisors is also required.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for Cisco Data Center products
• Troubleshoot and debug product and network problems
• Collaborate with technical experts to resolve complex issues

• Requirements:
• CCNA level equivalent or above in networking
• DevNet Associate level or above in network programmability
• Experience with storage solutions, operating systems, virtualization, and hypervisors
• Familiarity with complementary technologies such as TACACS, RADIUS, LDAP, CPU, DIMM, BMC, IPMI, QPI, PCIe

• Certifications:
• Cisco Expert-level certifications (CCNP/CCIE Data Center)
• Red Hat Certified (RHCSA)
• VmWare Certified (VCP)
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
• SUSE Certified Administrator (SCA)
