  • The Job We are seeking a #TechTalent to work as a Network Engineer for a project in the telecommunications sector.
  • Job Responsibilities
  • Design network security devices and IP nodes integrating with the country's network.
  • Define and deliver technical solution designs with appropriate dimensioning and scalability.
  • Create and maintain High-Level and Low-Level Designs for existing and new infrastructure.
  • Determine capacity management and expansion activities in designated nodes.
  • Implement software upgrades, hardware renewals, and infrastructure refreshes in designated nodes.
  • Participate in local demand management forums to analyze and prioritize connectivity requests from customers.
  • Manage vendors and system integrators for network implementation and connectivity.
  • Interface with regional and local Operations teams to define, plan, and schedule network activities.
  • Report updates on ongoing projects and highlight risks to programme teams.

  • Requirements
  • An academic degree and/or at least 5 years of experience in Telecom/IT organizations supporting large heterogeneous IP networks.
  • Solid knowledge of IP network design/architecture.
  • Excellent knowledge of Cisco ACI, Router/Switches (IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS), Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager), and F5 (LTM, GTM).
  • Experience with Network Automation programming - Ansible scripting.
  • Fluent in English oral and written; Portuguese proficiency also desired.
  • CCNP, CISSP certifications beneficial.
