About This Opportunity

The TN Portugal team is seeking a skilled Technical Consulting Engineer to provide technical leadership and expertise in router and switch architecture.

• Responsibilities
• Provide technical guidance and support to customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Apply analytical skills and technical knowledge to troubleshoot complex network problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle issues in heterogeneous environments.
• Optimize lab setups to recreate and solve problems within Cisco's state-of-the-art labs.
• Develop trusted relationships with worldwide customers and partners.
• Contribute to knowledge bases and troubleshooting guides.
• Create automation logic to speed up issue resolution.
• Work with engineering teams to improve product quality by identifying software defects.
• Become a subject matter expert in router and switch technologies.

• Requirements
• Proven technical expertise in networking (CCNA level equivalent) and/or network programmability.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux/UNIX command-line tools, software development/debugging, and computer science concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related field of study.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems, quickly learn new technology, and apply that knowledge in real-world situations.
