Job Title: Senior Network Solutions Specialist

SAP is a leading provider of enterprise software, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Network Solutions Specialist to join our team in Lisbon. As part of the Global Corporate Office Network Service team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of data network services within SAP's Internal Corporate Network.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the operation, installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of remote access equipment using 3rd party implementation staff.
• Ensure compliance of network infrastructure to global standards.
• Develop and report useful metrics to judge platform and provider performance.
• Interact with other peer technology teams as needed, investigating and evaluating new network technologies.

Requirements:

• To succeed in this role, you will need:
• 6+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a global networking environment.
• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, or equivalent working knowledge.
• Proven knowledge of design and operations of Layer 2/Layer 3 routing and switching, preferably Cisco Networks.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with autonomous and proactive working behavior.
