Job Requirements
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join TN Portugal's commercial services line of business. To succeed in this role, you should have:
1. Extensive experience with cable industry standard practices, interfaces, operating systems, and protocols such as DOCSIS 3.0/3.1, SIP, and PacketCable.
2. A solid understanding of TCP/IP, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, Multicast, and MPLS, with working knowledge of IS-IS.
3. Prior extensive experience surrounding Ethernet and IP Service (Ethernet Private Line, Private LAN, Dedicated Internet, IPVLN, Internet, and Managed Router).
4. MEF 2.0 and 3.0 support and understanding.
5. Experience with BGP at an ISP level, both Corporate and Customer-facing.
6. SME support in Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols that support Business Services.
7. OAM and CFM support and understanding.
8. Understanding and support for RFC2544, Y.1564, and Y.1731.
9. Familiarity with IPv4 and IPv6.
10. Knowledge of WAVE Services and their implementation.

Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will participate in the evaluation, design, trial, and deployment of our next-generation network (NGN) products and service delivery. Key responsibilities include:
1. Engineering and automating network solutions to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
2. Collaborating with architecture, BU, service delivery, and operations teams to drive ongoing evolution and support of the current platform.
3. Partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver managed services for customer network implementations.
