About This Role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a network engineer and contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure.

As a member of our Cœur Réseau department, you will work closely with our experienced professionals to ensure seamless communication between data centers, legacy LAN infrastructures, and cloud services.

• Key Highlights:
• 4 main data centers in France
• 3 data centers in our subsidiaries across Europe
• 2,400 switches and routers
• 70,000 physical and virtual servers (70% in private Cloud)
• Multiple interconnections to the Internet at 3 data centers - 20 Gbps traffic on average

Your Responsibilities

• As our ideal candidate, you will be responsible for:
• Ensuring network supervision using our monitoring tools
• Handling production incidents promptly and efficiently
• Carrying out routine network configuration requests: VLAN creation, configuration changes, adding switches to fabrics, etc.
• Supporting systems and applications teams in deploying their infrastructures on the network
• Deploying switches needed to connect server infrastructures
• Participating in developing automation processes
• Assisting in standby, on-call, and night/weekend interventions

• Main Technical Requirements:
• Technical knowledge: Spanning Tree, OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP Evpn, Multicast, Cisco ACI, Cisco/Arista CLI
• Experience with network architectures featuring multiple thousand devices
• Knowledge of virtualized environments, particularly NSX
• Experience with automation and/or programming languages such as Ansible or Python
• Fluent English for international collaboration

• Other Key Skills:
• You're passionate about network technologies and enjoy delving into technical aspects
• Experience as a network administrator and ability to share knowledge
• Able to analyze technical environments, identify improvements, explain, and implement them
• Worked on large network architectures in an environment with significant operational constraints: dealing rooms, remote banking, electronic banking, call centers, etc.
