TN Portugal is looking for a Radio Access Network Planning Specialist to join our team.
About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing and expanding our wireless network infrastructure. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining radio access networks to ensure optimal performance, coverage, and capacity.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement network capacity planning and forecasting strategies.
• Analyze network performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize network parameters.
• Design and implement network expansion plans to meet increasing demand and improve coverage.
• Collaborate with network operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Stay current with the latest RAN technologies and trends.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including network diagrams, specifications, and procedures.

• Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in RAN planning and engineering.
• Strong understanding of cellular network technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G).
• Proficiency in RF planning and propagation modeling tools (e.g., Atoll, Planet).
• Experience with network performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of RAN optimization parameters and KPIs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
