• TN Portugal is seeking an experienced Freelance Data Center Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center operations, with expertise in server installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Job Description:
• Server Installation and Maintenance: Install and configure servers, networking equipment, and other hardware to ensure optimal performance and maximum uptime within the data center.
• Data Center Monitoring: Monitor data center operations both remotely and on-site, quickly diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues to minimize downtime and maintain service reliability.
• Networking Device Management: Configure and manage networking devices, including Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure secure and efficient network operations that align with organizational standards.
• System Troubleshooting: Manage and troubleshoot both Linux and Windows-based systems, performing essential updates, patches, and security enhancements to keep systems secure and up-to-date.
• Documentation and Reporting: Document all installations, repairs, maintenance tasks, and system performance, providing comprehensive reports to the remote management team to ensure transparency and accountability in operations.
