• We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Specialist to join our team. As a Network Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing post-sales support for delivery with supervision of a senior engineer.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Support service partners engineers during project deployment.
• Analyse the Network Designs provided by the SE to ensure consistent Deployment and In-Service Upgrades of Ciena Equipment allowing for high quality and cost efficient service delivery.
• Gather and analyse Customer Network Data and develop the migration strategy required to ensure successful transition onto the Ciena platform.
• Serve as an escalation point for issues/problems related to the Technical Deployment Package contents.
• Requirements:
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related field of discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with various cross-functional groups to resolve issues and establish best practices.
• Excellent English language written and verbal communications skills.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office applications (Visio, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
