Telecom Network Engineer Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Network Engineer to join our team at TN Portugal. As a leading provider of network solutions, we require an expert who can design, implement, and optimize robust network infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient IP network architectures
• Analyzing and forecasting router capacity requirements to ensure optimal performance
• Configuring and optimizing routing and switching protocols for seamless connectivity
• Automating network tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash
• Diagnosing and resolving complex network issues using advanced monitoring tools
• Designing and managing transmission systems for optimal data flow
• Monitoring and enhancing network performance to meet business and technical requirements
• Maintaining up-to-date network documentation and adhering to best practices
• Collaborating with internal teams to align network strategies with business objectives

Qualifications

• To succeed in this role, you should possess:
• A degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP)
• Strong expertise in IP design, routing and switching, network automation, and troubleshooting
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash
• Knowledge of advanced monitoring tools like packet analyzers and network performance monitoring solutions
• Familiarity with transmission systems and network optimization techniques
