• We are seeking an Enterprise Network Engineer to join our team in Lisbon. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of data network services in SAP's Internal Corporate Network.
• *Key Responsibilities**
• Design, deployment, operation, reporting, and continuous improvement of remote access solutions using managed service providers.
• Close cooperation with other Regional Core Network Services team colleagues to ensure that the network infrastructure is delivered in accordance with business requirements and global standards.
• Operation and development of the GRA platform on a day-to-day basis using various managed services for execution.
• Ensure compliance of network infrastructure to global standards.
• Ensure that service and operations level agreements are met.
• Provide subject matter expertise in the design and operations of network services with a focus on a cloud-based Palo Alto networks solution (Global Protect) and an on-premises implementation (F5).
• *Requirements**
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, or equivalent working knowledge.
• Operation of an enterprise-grade VPN solution tailored for end-users.
• VPN design, routing, and switching or proven equivalent knowledge.
• Knowledge of design and operations of Layer 2/Layer 3 routing and switching, preferably Cisco Networks.
• Familiarity with strong knowledge of firewall policy concepts is a plus.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with autonomous and proactive working behavior.
