Job Overview

This role involves planning and implementing complex networks for clients. As a network engineer, you will be responsible for designing customized telecommunications networks from layer 2 to layer 3.

Key Responsibilities:
- Network planning: Create tailored network solutions for clients
- Technical implementation: Configure Cisco routers and switches, as well as DSL and WDM technology
- Change management: Coordinate on-site technician deployments for technical changes

Requirements:
- Professional qualification: Completed training as a technician, IT systems electronics technician, or IT specialist for system integration
- Network know-how: Sound knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols and experience with Cisco router and switch configuration
- Certifications an advantage: Holding a Cisco certification such as CCNA
