HVDC System Commissioning Expert - Network Specialist

This role requires a highly skilled engineer with expertise in HVDC system commissioning. Responsibilities include the technically flawless, timely and economical implementation of HVDC system commissioning on site, as well as the commissioning, support and control of network infrastructure. Time synchronization and interface to other signal suppliers are also key aspects of this position.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network administration, HMI basics, PC administration, network security, monitoring, and network protocols. They should also have excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information to various stakeholders.

A typical day in this role would involve collaborating with project management, system engineering, and end customers to deliver customized solutions based on the latest innovations in HVDC technology. Our team works closely together to implement, test, and verify hardware and software for our innovative HVDC projects in our test facility.

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of network administration, HMI basics, PC administration, network security, monitoring, and network protocols
- At least 3 years of experience in this field of expertise, preferably with a degree in electrical or information technology
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel worldwide and work on construction sites at home and abroad
