Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon or Porto

• Main Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy and manage complex digital networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) with a balance of technical and commercial expertise.
• Install and configure software, servers, switches, routers, firewalls, appliances and other network devices to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation detailing full network topology for future reference.
• Interpret ITED Projects and validate their implementations in the field to ensure compliance.
• Monitor the entire network for availability, integrity, and performance, addressing issues promptly.
• Solve network problems on premises or in public cloud infrastructures, escalating issues as needed from L1 and/or L2 support levels.
• Automate tasks and monitor their efficiency to optimize network performance.
• Develop advanced comprehension of communication protocols (TCP/IP) and routing protocols (OSPF).
• Possess strong knowledge of network operating systems, such as Cisco IOS.
• Understand Wi-Fi site surveys and have good knowledge of Cisco Meraki technologies.
• Familiarize yourself with basic Cisco collaborative solutions, including Cisco Call Manager.
• Gain a solid theoretical understanding of SD-WAN and SASE technical architecture and solutions.
• Implementing NAC (Network Access Control) is also valued.

• Main Requirements and Technical Expertise:
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (preferably).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player with easy collaboration skills.
• Able to mentor junior professionals.
• Proactive and autonomous individual.
• Good level of English language proficiency.
