- Network Engineer Role:
- Job Description:
- We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team in Lisbon for a hybrid work arrangement.
- The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in similar roles and at least 3 years of experience in the Portuguese Market.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage complex digital networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN);
- Install and configure software, servers, switches, routers, firewalls, appliances, and other network devices;
- Maintain technical documentation detailing full network topology;
- Solve network issues on-premises or public cloud infrastructures escalated from L1 or L2 support levels;
- Automate tasks and monitor their efficiency;
- Ensure advanced comprehension of communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF);
- Utilize strong knowledge of network operating systems (e.g., Cisco IOS) and experience with Cisco Meraki technologies;
- Conduct Wi-Fi site surveys and implement SD-WAN and SASE architectures;
- Apply basic knowledge of Cisco collaborative solutions, such as Cisco Call Manager;
- Implement Network Access Control (NAC) solutions when applicable.
