Industrial Automation Network Engineer

Our company is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation network infrastructure to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues affecting automation systems and ensure seamless IT/OT integration;
- Design, implement, and maintain automation network infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable communication;
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect automation systems and ensure compliance with internal and external standards;
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to validate system functionality and integration;
- Suitable Software installation, updates, and troubleshooting during project execution and post-implementation phases;
- Ensure alignment with functional design specifications and adherence to global engineering and automation standards;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, automation, and operations, to support system integration and performance;
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes, maintaining traceability and audit readiness;
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement in connectivity and security;
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in industrial networking, cybersecurity, and automation systems.">

Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
Education:
- ">
- University degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering or similar scientific field;
- ">
Experience:
- ">
- Relevant experience in installation management or equipment qualification and automation preferably with a focus in chemical plants or Pharmaceutical industry;
- ">
Skills:
- ">
- Training and experience of GMP and HSE practices;
- Relevant understanding and knowledge of legislation applicable to engineering projects and quality requirements applicable to technical installations;
- Competent (written and verbal) English;
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office package;
