About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure group, you will be responsible for the planning, operation, and maintenance of our global network infrastructure. This includes designing and implementing LAN (L2 + L3), WLAN, and DataCenter networks, as well as managing hardware with monitoring and administration tools.
Your tasks will also include service handling with our IT service providers, participation in IT projects, second-level support, and ongoing optimization and expansion of our global network. If you have experience in the planning and daily operation of network infrastructures, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and implement LAN (L2 + L3), WLAN, and DataCenter networks worldwide
2. Manage hardware with monitoring and administration tools
3. Handle services with our IT service providers
4. Participate in IT projects
5. Provide second-level support and central point of contact for all network infrastructure issues
6. Ongoing optimization and expansion of our global network
- Requirements
- Completed studies in computer science or comparable training in the field of IT
- Practical experience in the planning and daily operation of network infrastructures
- Knowledge of routing, switching, and wireless technologies
- Automation languages such as Ansible or Terraform desirable
- Certificates such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE an advantage
- Service orientation and high level of commitment
- Good knowledge of English
