Aubay Portugal is a multinational company that has been operating in Portugal since 2007. We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto and specialize in the management, implementation, development, and maintenance of information systems.

We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide 2nd line technical support in network environments (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) ensuring stability and security.

• Your duties will include:
• Diagnosing and resolving issues related to connectivity, performance, and security.
• Administering and monitoring Check Point security solutions.
• Managing and configuring F5 appliances.
• Participating in the analysis, implementation, and improvement of network infrastructure.
• Documenting technical procedures, incidents, and relevant configurations.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex problems.

In this role, you will work closely with our technical teams to identify and implement solutions that meet the needs of our business. You will also contribute to the development of new technologies and processes that drive innovation and growth.

• To succeed in this role, you will need:
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IP networks and hands-on experience with Check Point and F5 administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Check Point firewalls and certifications such as CCST and/or CCNA, F5-CTS, and CCSA.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networks, switching, routing, NAT, VPN, etc.
• Knowledge of F5 Networks solutions, especially BIG-IP, LTM, and iRules.
• Experience with troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Shell script, etc.) and experience with task automation.
• Ability to work under pressure and in critical environments.
• Familiarity with ITSM frameworks, particularly ITIL.
