Network Solutions Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Network Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our presales team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing network solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Your primary responsibility will be to analyze technical specifications provided by end customers and design tailored technical solutions that meet tender requirements and align with project goals. You will also evaluate and select solutions, providing a well-founded justification for each choice. In addition, you will prepare sub-contract agreements with selected suppliers, analyze supplier offers to ensure alignment with technical and financial project goals, negotiate and select suppliers to ensure optimal value and performance, and develop comprehensive technical descriptions for submission to the end customer.
You will also create detailed Bills of Quantities/Bills of Materials, including cost estimates, and support workload estimations for project development and rollout phases. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure smooth project execution from design through implementation.
We are seeking a candidate with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field, and experience in bid preparation and presales engineering, ideally within network systems. Proficiency in Fixed IP, Wireless Network Systems, and MPLS technologies is required. Knowledge of MPLS is advantageous. Additionally, you should have proven experience in designing and implementing network solutions, as well as the ability to develop and implement customer-centric solutions effectively.
- The ideal candidate will also possess proficiency in Portuguese and English, and French language skills are an advantage. Proficiency in MS Office tools, with advanced knowledge in Excel for cost analysis and project documentation, is also required.
