Job Summary:
The Systems Administrators consultants play a crucial role in the management and maintenance of the hole infrastructure, including the datacenter and other services, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance. They are responsible for resolving complex issues while actively optimizing the overall systems infrastructure. Proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the strategic evolution of hole ecosystem.
- Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting Incidents: Systematically identify, analyze, and resolve intricate issues within network infrastructures to restore optimal functionality. Utilize advanced knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software to isolate problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with team members and leverage advanced diagnostic tools to ensure rapid and accurate problem resolution;
- Incident Response: Detect and respond promptly to network incidents such as failures, performance degradation, and security breaches. Diagnose and resolve network issues to maintain uninterrupted services;
- System Administration: Manage environments with physical and virtual servers in both public and private clouds, working across application and network layers. Administer multivendor operating systems (Linux, Windows), including patching, updates, backups, monitoring, and infrastructure services like AD, DNS, and DHCP;
- Virtualization: Operate virtualization environments using market-leading vendors such as VMware and Hyper-V, ensuring high availability through SAN networks, fabric switches, clusters, and storage solutions;
- Security Assessment: Implement and maintain security measures to protect against unauthorized access and other threats. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments;
- Server Management: Configure and maintain servers, install and configure operating systems and services, and perform maintenance to enhance system efficiency;
- Update/Patch Management: Apply firmware and software updates to servers and systems to enhance stability and security;
- Collaboration: Work closely with network engineers, cybersecurity experts, and application developers to address cross-functional issues;
- Emergency Response: Be available for on-call services to respond to emergencies outside regular working hours if necessary;
- Automation/DevOps Tools: Utilize scripting and automation tools to optimize operations;
- Documentation: Create and maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations and procedures.
- Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, AWS, MCSE, CCNA Datacenter) are preferred;
- Experience: Over 8 years of experience in systems administration or datacenter operations;
- Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of physical and virtual servers, infrastructure services (DHCP, DNS, SNMP), monitoring tools, and operating systems (Windows and Linux);
- Familiarity with web servers/application servers and datacenter operations;
- Security awareness, including system hardening, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, EDR, and backup and replication systems;
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) and automation tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach to troubleshooting;
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
- Ability to work under pressure during emergency situations.
