Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented and proactive Network Engineer to join one of the leading multinationals in the Portuguese market, known for its diversified business portfolio.
It has a solid culture focused on innovation and digital transformation - offices in Oporto (hybrid).
As a Network Engineer you'll be responsible for designing, configuring, maintaining, and improving our network infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. If you’re passionate about automation, network security, and scalable architectures, this role is for you.
Design and maintain cloud network solutions on AWS and Azure;
Configure and maintain network infrastructure: including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN concentrators from various vendors.
Design robust network solutions adapted to business needs;
Implement and enforce network security policies, procedures, and best practices;
Set up and debug monitoring and health-check tools;
Identify and resolve issues remotely with a problem-solving mindset;
Automate network infrastructure using modern tools and scripts, code infrastructure.
What you are like:
2+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role;
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or relevant network/security certifications;
Familiarity with collaborative platforms like Jira, Confluence, GitLab;
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Fluent in English (spoken and written);
