We are seeking a Customer Support Engineer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a key member of our Fixed Networks Regional Center, you will play a vital role in providing CARE services on FN products.

  • The main responsibilities of this position include:
  • Providing remote and on-site operation and maintenance support for complex network applications and end-to-end multi-vendor networks
  • Providing configuration support, network element deployment support, maintenance release and software update deployment, and on-site training
  • Providing remote and on-site recovery support in the event of an out-of-service condition caused by a disaster
  • Escalation to a higher level support in case of difficult or time critical problems or need due to a configuration control
  • Maintaining interfaces with customer's technical personnel ensuring smooth information flow about reported problems and their resolution status as well as other activities with customer

  • Candidate must possess strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform 24x7 customer support
  • Customer orientation and stress tolerance
  • Strong analytical reasoning and problem solving skills, self-motivated, aggressive and hard working
  • Languages: English and Portuguese (mandatory); French (good to have)
